Mike Watson grew up in Tyler, Texas. After graduating from John Tyler High School, Mike went to work as a sales representative for Berry Cigar & Candy, which was eventually acquired by Grocery Supply Company. Mike worked at Grocery Supply for several years until he decided to start his own business. He opened Mike's Wholesale in 1989. From his 20 foot enclosed goose-neck Wells Cargo trailer, Mike began to sell supplies to local convenience stores in East Texas.

The business model was simple, but Mike's clients quickly came to appreciate his desire to provide quality products, excellent customer service, and quick delivery. Over the years, Mike has proudly expanded his company. Mike's Wholesale now occupies a 15,000 square foot warehouse with stocked shelves offering a large variety of products at competitive prices. We have around twenty employees, including six delivery drivers, two salesmen with combined 30 plus years of experience in the industry, three office associates, and nine warehouse employees. We span over a 60 mile radius from the Tyler area and continue to grow with every new customer we have the pleasure to serve.
